On Saturday the 6th November 2021 Kirsty and Mike got married at Kielder Waterside in the tipi.
We worked with Kirsty and Mike from the off in order to select the correct colours for their wedding flowers. Kirsty knew what she wanted and we wanted to make it perfect for them as we do for all our couples. We had a consultation and then spoke over the phone in the lead up to the wedding to make the correct choices. We were grateful for them putting their trust in Bees and Butterflies Flowers for their big day.
Photography 34 were the brilliant photographer's that captured their beautiful wedding day. Follow their Instagram or Facebook page they are fantastic! Here is a blog post to share some of the pictures taken by Photography 34 of Kirsty and Mike's day. Thank you for letting us share them guys!
On the morning of their wedding we had a very early start and delivered the wedding flowers to Kielder Waterside, it was a very wet and windy morning. They say if it rains on your wedding day its lucky and said to be good luck for a long lasting marriage! It looks by the pictures that it didn't put a damper on their day at all!!!
Kirsty (and Mike!) looked absolutely stunning, I mean that dress, boots and cardigan really set the scene for their style of wedding. The flowers were teamed fantastically with it, all the way down to the golden hand dyed silk ribbon to match the bridesmaids.
The bridesmaids outfit was a welcomed fresh approach of a jumpsuit and were such a beautiful colour! So relaxed and still stylish!
Kirsty and Mike wanted light pink, bright pink, purple and burgundy colours and also wanted the gold accent which we used with the hand dyed silk ribbon. The colours worked perfectly and the careful planning by the couple pulled off a stunning overall look!
Mike also knew what he wanted for the buttonholes and suggested the flowers he would like to be used in them. They were also teamed with gold ribbon to match.
The corsages were also a great addition too.
You were both great to work with. Your pictures are stunning! Take a look at the gallery below for more from Photography 34 of Kirsty and Mike' wedding day.
